Parsley is a well-known, yet oftentimes hardly appreciated plant. And it’s a big mistake, because the gold of Polish gardens and window sills – as parsley is often dubbed – is oozing invigorating vitamin C! It contains up to four times as much of it as oranges or cabbage! Parsley is also a great source of such vitamins as provitamin A (its green is particularly rich in it), PP, K and B group.
To make a parsley facial you will need:
– ½ cup of parsley green puree
– ½ cup of ground flaxseed
– 2 tablespoons of honey
– ¼ teaspoon of lemon juice
Mix honey, lemon juice and parsley green in a bowl. The gradually add flaxseed in order to get a thick paste.
Apply the facial to your face and leave it for 15 minutes, after which rinse with lukewarm water.
